You never know what kind of day it’s gonna be. You never know if it’s gonna be a good day or a bad day. Who decides?You decide. Things happen that affect your mood , make you change how you feel . They affect you or they don’t. Today I went to text Twitter and say “today’s gonna be a good day”. Went down the elevator. Glasses on, walk to my bike and started riding, Backed up to take this photo.
Cruised around the corner smiling and a man almost hit me from a side street. He wasn’t looking. Should have dinged my bell but I yelled “HEY” and threw my hand in the air. He was a dark skinned black man who was heavy set with white eves in a red Tony Danza van. It scared me but I kept riding.. I saw him again so I started making a video and kept riding.
In Liberty Village, I saw him again just as I stopped filming. He saw me see him. I wasn’t even thinking of the handsome man I often see, then I saw him. The handsome one. I don’t think he saw me. Arrived at work, sat down at my desk and suddenly remembered my dream for last night, The man, the one in the van, he was chasing me. He tried to get in to my condo. He was looking in the windows and jumped down from a balcony above to mine. I remember being so scared.
My boss said he isn’t coming in after saying he was going to be late. I pulled out my netbook and listened to this song. .It’s from an old Bondi beach mix. I’m not sure what it’s called or who it’s by, but I like it. Joeph Dee’s tweet inspired the title of this video. Today’s gonna be a good day.
Sprung out of bed and yawned out loud, the sun was on my face. Slugged to the kitchen, to the loo, not yet in a race. My mind, it slipped me…such good sleep! I saw the clock, I was in SHOCK… I was nearly late!
For brunch today, I was graced with the lovely presence of British, Bangs and a Bun writer Muireann Carey-Campbell. I pulled up to see her locking her bike up in a cute blue dress, bangs and a bun and all.
It’s one of the hottest days so far, I wore the Edie dress. Gah, I’d rather bike in my bathing suit. We had some damn good laughs over brekky. Looking forward to reading about he life in NY and Japan.
I’m waiting for friends to come over and go swimming. The air is like a thick brick cloud and it sticks to you when you walk through it.

Rode against the wind the whole time and my hair is frizzy like Andy Warhol. My teeth hurt from wearing my retainer. I don’t mind because they are so straight when I wake up. I haven’t dealt with death that much, lucky me I guess.
My family is all in New Zealand so if someone passes, I’m not there to be with them. That’s unlucky. My high school had a really high suicide rate. Yesterday Martin Streek, my fav man at the Edge called it quits. I saw Shane’s Facebook and was shocked when I read his blog and got the story.
I used to run into Martin and his smiling face often. We made friends one summer. My most fond memories are the summer days when Jenie and I used to go down to The Edge and hangout out with him while he did the Thursday 30. It was so much fun, as soon as he saw our faces he would say ‘OMG, it’s the Stewart Sisters, you guys are so hot’ . We’d give hugs & hang. He was always full of smiles and jokes. I’ve gotta find the photos now, I think I know where they are. He will be missed by me, was always my favorite man on the radio. I remember the Jager tattoo, he was really fit for his age. Nice eyes too. Rest in peace my friend.

Girls were working out in the park. They start in a circle then change formation to watch the teacher. I stopped to have a sit in the grass and relax.Needed to cool down from the hot heat on the bike ride. Was tired on the bike today, really warm out today. Humid.
Sat down for a cold refreshing one on the bench and felt calm. Gonna get a new style today.The stuff is in my hair is hot and it feels like I’m in direct afternoon sunlight on a hot summer day. It kinda burns a bit but it’s good. I’m starting to get excited for Pride. I get talking about past times and all the girls start calling and we make plans. OMG its so fun. I love.

I had Peach Beserk make me this dress my my birthday. It’s stretchy and covered with Edie and Andy. I love it hard. You can make your own dress here. Looks especially great with fishnets and a long coat. Loves it.
The day begins to come to an end and I find my mind wandering, wondering. I listen to CBC Classical online. I feel relaxed and look forward to riding home and the breeze in my hair. I’m picking up my Edie Sedgwick dress from Peach Beserk this evening. Made to order and tailored to fit. I always liked Andy Warhol, as long as I can remember. I was walking through this outdoor mallway over the weekend, I think it’s beautiful.Listening to this music I feel inspired to write, to read more Ogden Nash and to create things that never existed before. My coffee is warm and so is the air around me. It’s comforting and leaves me feeling safe. My shoulders are bare and the light is barely coming through the clouds. I really love the movie Closer, there is something so real about the relationships between the characters and their melancholy love tales. Natalie, Clive, Jude and Julia, good kids. I feel it in my legs, the biking from yesterday. Tomorrow there is a Billabong sample sale at 67 Mowat Avenue. Two weeks ago I wished they would have one so I could get a new bathing suit for my birthday, then I got an email a couple days later. Rent paid. No new metro pass yet. Postie beside me again. Read a friends story this morning and it inspires me to have friends that do amazing things. Its warm today, cloudy with sun peeking though just enough necessary for sunnies. Glad the Tamil protest is over. I don’t like people fighting in the streets. My friend said the ambo’s couldn’t get to the hospitals fast because of them. I wanna see the Wolverine movie. Hugh Jackman, I like him, especially in that role. There’s an article in the Metro about timeraiser.com, cool idea. I’m looking forward to the next #genyTO. Adoration by Egoyan, I’d like to see that one too. The Mississauga McCallion is really old and creepy. I never wanna live in that burb. SJP is having twins and Lohan is hopped up on energy drinks. Everyone seems to be taking something. My favorite store in the city is Apt. 909. I love it. I go in, love it most when I’m the only one there. I drop all my stuff and take off my shoes. The music is great and the atmostphere is like stepping in to another world. I got new glasses and a pretty dress.
Last night I had the pleasure of going to the AGO, again. TGFFW (Thank God For Free Wednesdays). I love it there. So many inspiring ideas which arouse my wild & creative mind. I decided to make my own art and snuck a few shots in. Please don’t be mad my dear AGO or Mr. Gehry for it is so lovely I just could not help myself. This is my favorite. You know I love Andy.I really enjoy some of the modern stuff and photography. I was looking at some of the pictures and I saw this total stud, I don’t know what it is about him. I have a thing for nerdy dudes.I love the staircase. How is winds around and shows beautiful views of the city lights. It makes me happy to dance around the stairs as they twist and turn and travel higher.Its is super busy on Wednesday’s since it is free. The gallery opens at 6pm and closes at 8:30pm. This is not enough time to get around the whole place. There are many nooks and cranny’s of artistic expression. Coat check is $1 and you have to check your bags. You are allowed to sketch in pencil, but not in pen. I like to write.
My mum always taught me, just because you don’t have money doesn’t mean you can’t compete. It merely means you must be more creative. Andy, says to think rich and look poor. So, with these two influences I find myself thinking rich, and finding creative ways to make money all the while looking stylish yet competitive. Thanks for the influence.
last night my friend played an acoustic weezer concert for me. it was so great. it was almost as good as if the weeze boys were playing just for me. i loved it.
