the proof is in…the whisky.

Last week I had the pleasure of stopping by the Roots store on Bloor to hang in the lovely Dougals Coupland room and taste Proof  Brand Wisky for the first time.

Catering was tasty, there was a really babilicious Brazillion server boy and music was pretty good too.  I never got his pic, damn. They had a variety of cocktails to test out and the whisky gets two thumbs up from me. The bottle is really cute, has a  stylish design and is only $19.95 for the 500ml. Perfect for a quiet winter night at home. (Joking. Not joking. )

I met the creator, a former LCBO employee who gave me the dirt on the brand. They’ve got a rum and vodka launching in the next year. I really like the way the bottle looks. I reckon the trio of whisky, vodka, rum would make a nice set for bottle service either at home or a resto.

You know I’m not a huge sports fan so when I heard Jonathan Roy was performing I wasn’t too sure who he was. Turns out, he’s a babe and his Dad, Patrick Roy is a pretty big deal in the world of hockey.

This guy was bringing sweaty back.

I saw Jonathan on my way out and told him I didn’t know who his Dad was and I’m not much of a sports fan but he did a good job. He said that was actually good, I mentioned my blog and we snapped a pic. Don’t we look cute together? Sweet thang asked if I had one of his CD’s and ran upstairs to grab one for me. Thanks JONO.

New frilly flower dress was a total hit. Must be kinda cafeul on windy days though, it’s a panty flasher.

Ran into one of my most fav MTV empoyees evahhhhh, the lovely Miss Sheena from MTV Live. We had a very passionate embrace as you can see. She picked me right up like a wee doll. ILU SHEENA.

Met this other hot babe too, Lindsay Unwin, no relation to the Unwin from Much I used to work with. She’s a little hottie too.

So glad Fall is here. Currently wearing a pashmina and hat. FTW! It’s accessory season and mama likes!! Today is Labour Day, I’m happily home working on a couple things for clients. New blog design is in progress too.  Big ‘tings comin’ I tells ya.
