How about this?

It’s FINALLY 2015 and Marty McFly is coming to the future. I think I watched this movie about 100 times growing up. Over the past few years there’s been some confusion on the REAL date he comes ‘back to the future’ and it’s October 21, 2015.

When Marty travelled through time in ‘Back to the Future’, the only drink Marty wanted was Pepsi Perfect. In celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the major motion picture, Pepsi is helping bring the futuristic vision depicted in the film to life. Pepsi has created a limited quantity of Pepsi Perfect bottles to celebrate the classic flick.

[iframe id=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/XrwRdzFP-fY”]

A neat fact about the above ad is the that it was created by Davie Brown Entertainment, creator of the Pepsi Challenge and THE VERY SAME AGENCY that created the fictional Pepsi Perfect product in the movie back in 1989. INCREDIBLE. This is some next level product placement – fictional product becoming real 30 years later. Amazing.

I’m part of the Canadian launch with Pepsi Canada and I’ve got a few of the VERY limited edition Pepsi Perfect bottles to give away in a special Pepsi Prize Pack. I would love to share Pepsi Perfect with YOU.

So when I was a kid, I first rented the VHS tapes, then I bought the VHS tapes from the rental place, then I bought the VHS box set (the one with the making of) and shortly after picked up the DVD set. Now I’m waiting on the new Blu-Ray with the Flux Capacitor box.

At one point, I owned all of these at once. Later, I gave them to friends who had never seen this trilogy. Or shall I say, the trilogy. Not a fan of Star Wars, so I think I can get away with that.

Sitting beside my TV is the Lego Delorean. You know the password question where it asks what your dream car is? Yup, Its one of those too.

Once, I saw a Delorean driving around, and I just followed it for a good twenty minutes just to soak it in a little bit.

I fully plan on getting one of these on the 21st. I know it’ll be tough, and likely will have to eBay this thing after. Please make it easier for me and just give me this prize. I swear I’ll actually wear the shirt too.

HUGE fan here! I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve watched each title, but what I can say is yes anytime anywhere to watching again. As a matter of fact the “DeLorean” or Bricklin SV-1 actually was produced right here in my province of New Brunswick and sold for a whopping $9,980 in 1975. This may sound like nothing but to put it into perspective a Corvette was under $7,000. Unlike the “Back to the future” franchise, the Bricklin flopped, however, I absolutely love the fact it was used for the DeLorean and recently seen Marc Saltzman get out of it during a preview at Ciniplex. Michael J. Fox could not have played a better Marty in the series and luckily after five weeks of filming replace Eric Stoltz to take the role! @casiestewart , I can seriously still remember wanting the hover board and doc’s sunglasses…hahaha. @pepsicanada has been and always will be my choice in soft drink.

Hi Matthew! I still want a hover board. one of these days! Thanks for sharing your story. I didn’t know the DeLorean was produced in NS! If only you could buy one at that price NOW. On a side note, we’ve got a 1982 Corvette sitting in the garage right now 🙂

Great Scott! A back to the future pepsi perfect giveaway? Awesome! Nice to see so many other Back to the Future fans. I don’t know if I can compete with some of the stories. All I can say is I really enjoyed all the BTTF films growing up. I think it is so amazing that Pepsi created a Pepsi Perfect like the one that was used in the film. I not everything happens though as what was in the movies. I will be pretty bummed if the Chicago Cubs win the World Series instead of the Blue Jays! Thanks for the Chance Casie and Pepsi.

Hey Josh! One of the cool things is the same company who created Pepsi Perfect in the movie helped create it in 2015. That blows my mind! Thanks for entering & have an awesome weekend 🙂

Love the DeLorean (I remember visiting the New Brunswick Museum and there was a display and info about it). I remember seeing the movies in the theatre, which was a big deal to even go to the theatre as a kid since we lived in the country and the theatre was a long ways away. I was absolutely awed by the movies and I still love the movies all these years later. Still wishing for that hoverboard to make it’s way into my house. Would love some Pepsi Perfect. Was never allowed Pop as a kid, so this would be great to relive those memories.

Such a coincidence! I had said to my hubby last week how Marty and Doc were due to arrive next week and that got him excited! He has the movies lined up for us to watch as a family this weekend. I have such fond memories of watching them with my family and I love that my kids want to watch as well.

I have always been a huge fan and watched each and every movie at least 20 times. I can remember being a kid and bugging my mom to take me to the theater to see back to the future. It was great! And I used to have a big time crush on Michael J. Fox and had posters of him on my wall.

Duh….I’m a child of the 80s and a HUGE Michael J Fox fan (I’ve even read both of his autobiographies) and I love quirky films — all of which made Back to the Future a no-brainer for me to love!

I want to win Pepsi Perfect… because it’s the film that my uncle got me hooked on. It’s something we always did when I was growing up, watch it on 10/21… because ironically it was also my birthday. So getting a Pepsi Perfect would be an amazing gift for my uncle, a way for me to properly thank him for all these years of enjoyment.

Loved how Marty McFly went back to the future of the 50’s. Those were great times. Loved to watch the films over & over with my 3 sons & daughter, we could never get enough. They still talk about wanting a hover-board & daughter loved the fashions of the 50’s & 80’s. And they are waiting to see the new release & relive the old…

Well, we're forcing our U.S. Corporations to "lock up" their money overseas, so China throws us a crumb. They own our debt, and now they're going to own our Country. And, that's a "Good" Thing?

I hope these work out better than the Samsung Chromebook. I fear we are going to see many more problems with secure boot. If there are, it will really hamper Window’s users from trying Linux!

You might have already seen it, but if not, another Downfall re-subtitling, this time about Microsoft banning loads of people from using their online gaming Xbox Live service because they modified their Xbox 360s to play pirated games. Speaking as both an Xbox Live user and a football fan, I think I just prefer the Sheff Utd one, though I think both are great.
