Got introduced Moovboot via @randallchannel recently.

I’ve got two pairs this week. You know I love my wellies and honestly, for a Canadian girl in the winter, they trump them by like 10,000 x. They’re from Australia, they tweet, and they’re into ‘adventures in lifestyle’. Marino sheepskin, rubber outside, totally warm when wet.

We’re now in committed 3-way a relationship.

My wellies are super-cute, kelly green with white trim. (Lacoste.) But they give me little bruises on my shins and they are not warm. AT. ALL.

No fluffies inside like the pretty ones you are modeling to keep footsies warm… which would also likely prevent SHPRBCS (Stiff Hard “Pokey” Rubber Boot Chafing Syndrome); a growing epidemic within the urban pedestrian community!

Oh! Me! Give them to me! I need boots SOOO bad! I have these lame Sketchers ones that are cute but not good for snow and rain and all the wet stuff. Plus they are falling apart : ( There are holes on the bottom and the heels and my feet get wet and cold : ( I am so sad.

Okay, so here's the scoop. I bought what I thought was a perfect pair of La Canadienne winter boots but they're not living up to their guarantee – they leak, they have salt stains I can't remove and yesterday the zipper broke. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping they'll honour their 6-month warranty. In the meantime, I need a pair of boots to get me through all this snow. I feel in love with Moovboots when I first saw them at Get Outside but I couldn't afford a second pair of winter boots. and it it matters, my winter coat is a deep navy blue so a pair o Moovboots in SuperGloss Navy would be doubly awesome.
