I love walking to work. It makes me so happy. By the time I arrive, I’ve already had fresh air and seen things I feel like writing about. I could write all day…take photos. One day I will. Harajuku babes tomorrow and serious blog work this weekend.
I often pass a red carpet on my way to work. Girls on bikes. Big towers for festivals, star gazing, looking across the water. I like when the sun shines on my face.
Last year I worked in Liberty Village in the West end and now I’m Central in the District of Entertainment and couldn’t be happier. This is where I should be. I really wanted it. I’m stoked about attending Fashion Week for actual shows this year, not parties. Ready for the weekend too. New pillow is making for way better sleeps. Feeling good.
Been crazy busy this week dudes. I love blogging and get all anxious when I don’t update. All is good. Magazine mini launch on Monday and Kelly Cutrone is coming to MTV. So excited, Gang of Bloggers coming and media too.Phone light keeps going off and driving me nuts, message waiting.
Wore a cute outfit today. Been dressing more fun and fashiony (than a cold day) now the weather has warmed. I’m judging a dress design contest for Peach Berserk coming up (scroll down) and a music contest thingy tonight (they said it’s Idol like?) . Need more time in the day. Stoked for the rain, I hope it rains all weekend and I stay home the whole time with my computer (Robert) my gadgets and Moovboots in case I need to go out. Like this video. Love her.

Today I am wearing a dress from Shop My Clothes that’s by a Japanese designer. I love the print heaps, very springy. It was really long so I chopped it and used the excess fabric to make a circle scarf.

I like to check trending topics around the world for things that stand out. In Sao Paulo, I found Laura Fontana. She is 8 years old wants to be Lady Gaga when she grows up. Starts at about 00:50 starting with Bad Romance, then Paparazzi. Kinda weird but whatever. I was dancing on stage wearing makeup when I was 5 and I always wanted to be like that. Way to go little one!
New show aired on MuchMusic last night all videos at 11 weeknights, music videos. Avril’s voice in the new Alice once is like yelling. I do not like it.The kaleidoscope for girls and autotune for boys are a big it it seems. Love the paint throwing in Hedley’s video. I want that.

Alex and Sabrina went to a Prom Party last night. Love PROM. There was no real prom, it was just the party. So fun! She came to me in the morning looking for something jazzy to wear.
As her stylist, I knew this would be no PROM-lem. Alex was wearing her original prom dress so I knew Sabrina needed to look like a beaut. Styled her up and took her photo.
Met Louis Lautman last night at Notable TV’s premiere of The YES Movie. I asked him to tell you about the movie since it’s his movie [see video]. He said it’s kinda like The Secret on steroids meets MTV.
Would really like to know if the young peeps in the movie have blogs, Tweet etc. Also, making lotsa money like that, these kids should be rocking serious style/designer shit. Was surprised at the style, I expected more savy!

Nice guy, very tall and says ‘theater’ with an accent. He started the Young Entrepreneur Society, so naturally I chatted him about entrepreneurship. I’m really into the big E. I firmly believe and know I can have anything I want , this is my life.
He also told me he didn’t know how to spell ‘entrepreneurship’ for a long time, said lots of people have trouble with it. I’ve never had that problem.
I won Young Entrepreneur of Cambridge when I was 15 for starting a publishing company. Little did I know then I’d become a modern daily internet daily social publisher. I spend lotsa my time going to these events, Tweetups, Genyto, etc these babies are really all about a crowd, a crown full of entrepreneurial thinkers.

Watched one of Lou’s(can I call you Lou?)video on the YES Ning network and it was about internship and inspiring. I always wanted to intern somewhere really cool but those days passed. In the year 2000 I worked work at a marketing company sorting catalogs for the summer. Boring. Really excited to be mentoring about 6 girls from PR at Humber College. Two were out last night. Those ones who show up, RT, @reply, or email reply back in real time (IRT?) get rewarded with tasks for Toronto Blog Girls. Big pimpin’ learning.
If you’re getting ready to start your very own bad ass bloggy-blog you have to be prepared to face the fact that people are going to interpret things in their own way. They are going to judge you. You might even get a few bad comments if your lucky. Anonymous ones that say mean things are they best. Joking.
I warn you….having a blog can be a really weird thing sometimes. I’ve been getting asked about blogging quite often lately. I’m now mentoring a bunch of babes about blogging and doing a talk about social media. Get your ass a ticket and come, you can even buy me a drink at the end! Serious. Kidding. Serious.
Everyone will interpret things you write in their own way. You might offend people. You might share too much and feel overcome with anxiety. Sometimes Mum/friend will ring asking ‘are you ok?”. The reply “yes Mum, I’m fine, oh yeah, my blog, whatever… “You might go back and edit, delete, or maybe you’ll just leave it and think, this is my life.
One of the great things is telling stories is being creative with your blog, borderline artistic. The weirdest thing about having a blog is relationships and dating, or breakups. I like to keep my relationship talk about my love of the Internet, clothes and gadgets. They’ll never tell you they need a break or leave your heart feeling empty.
But now we’re not. We’re still a good fit but we’ve given each other some room. It stayed the same, I got a smaller.
One of my vintage fav’s. I’ve been babysitting it for Natalie for years, it didn’t fit her at the time but she couldn’t bear to part with, so I’ve been taking good care of it. Really good care by taking it out and dancing with it and showing it off on the internet. hehe
BTW speaking of style, calling BLOGGERS who like fashion for an @mtvcanada event or two. I can’t tell you just what it is yet but GOOD. I’m excited (gonna blog it too), stoked to be able to invite cool peeps like YOU.

I love tumblr. There, I said it. I spend hours each week scanning pages of pretty girls with beautiful style. Dreaming of new clothes draped on my body while endlessly scrolling wordboners. New find on Tumblr last night….hellooooooooooo, j’adore so hard. Blog called P.S. I Made This makes me say “P.S love you”. Perfect for stylish girls on a budget or those of us who like to add our own creative flare to an outfit.
