Ladies & gentlmen, it is without regret that I inform you I have left CTV as the Social Media Girl for MuchMusic & MTV Canada.  I’m excited about what’s in store and I’m really excited to take on new projects.  If you’ve got a cool project you want to talk to me about, I’m happy to finally say, I’m available (professionally speaking that is). heh heh.

I think my first earthquake was in 1990 but i don’t really remember. Today I was sitting at my desk, working away when I noticed my monitor shaking and the table and me. Naturally, I tweeted. This is what happened…

We’ve had crews taking down the MMVA stage from the roof and the street car goes by all the time so at first I didn’t think it was anything. When it went on for about 30 seconds I knew something was up. Pretty crazy. Even crazier that we got the first Super Swarm in CANADA. Woot.

Watching Kesha on stage right now and tweeting my heart out for @MuchMusic. Being here is blowing my mind. I’m soaking up every minute.

Last night was so much fun I can’t even tell you.  Also, just got an email from Virgin American & Klout they are sending me to LA. I love life.  I love you.  I have so much to tell you but for now I just show you my dress from Peach Berserk made SPECIALLY for tonight’s MMVA’s. It’s going to be auctioned off after for a charity in Uganda. Tell you about that tomorrow.

What a weekend this is gonna be. Excited. Busy. Wristbands. Celebrities. Massive stage. Bieber fever. I am so excited. A massive amount of candy just arrived at the office and I’ll be hopped up on sugar all weekend. Katy Perry would love this.

I’m working long hours and days/night but you know what, I always wanted to do this. I have the coolest job and I’m really excited to be party of the bniggest award show party in CANADA. I will not complain of being tired and I will try to share as much as I can with you from behind the scenes & what I’m up to.

I love Twitter for so many reason but one of them is this…FRIENDS!

Friends that are always there to cheer you up because sometimes a little thing happens to steer you in the wrong direction. Today I  kinda got off to a bad start and naturally, I tweeted… then before you know it my friends popped out of the internet, took action and typed me some sunshine. You can’t get that type of widespread instant happiness anywhere else.

I tried to take a pic of my outfit but it’s impossible with a phone camera. I really miss having my camera. Don’t you miss my outfit shots? Well, I do and that’s really what matters here. I’ll get a new one soon. Maybe this week. Anyone have a hookup with Canon/Kodak/Camera Store? I’ll love you forever just like I love Telus for hookin’ a sista up with the most amazing phone, Motorola Milestone.

Lots of meetings today which means time is very valuable! Carly’s BF’s band Hail The Villan is on MOD today at 5′er. Sailor Jerry event tonight and I dressed kinda sailor inspired. Yahooo!

I just went to Mc Donalds for lunch.  It was tasty as usual, I know it’s bad for me but I like it and i’ve been eating the stuff my whole life and it’s still not “caught up to me”. Life is short, do what makes you happy, eh!

The stage is getting set up at work for the MMVA show June 20th. I’m pretty stoked that I’m the Twitter person, it’s the most fun job I reckon. Karrera is coming over tonight. She moved out West in Jan and we’ve been friends since we were kids so it’s pretty exciting.

Today when I logged into Tumblr I was like WTF, YOU ARE BLACK NOW? Not that there’s anything wrong with it, I would have said the same thing is it was any colour. The reason Tumblr is black is they are requesting & matching donations for Safe Our Gulf. I get to frustrated watching stuff about the oil spill. So sad really.

A couple years ago I had the pleasure of meeting one of the worlds most famous men in the porn industry who goes by the name of Ron Jeremy. I’m sure you’ve heard of him, no? He was quite sweet and funny, which was not surprising considering he’s spent his life charming ladies with his snake. tee hee.

I don’t usually post work stuff here (except for Jersey Shorehaha) but I think this show is gonna be funny. It’s called  The hard Times of RJ Berger & it’s about a geek in highschool who has a really huge… unit. It starts on Monday and I think it’s gonna be hilarious. This is the promo I posted on the MuchMusic FB earlier today… hehe.

Sometimes I feel like this too, heaps of blogs and twitter accounts, social profiles, multiple personalities. It ain’t easy but I can handle it. I’m crazy like that.

I love this show. Toni Collette is beautiful and a totally wicked actress. The site has profiles all the characters she plays, I haven’t met them all yet, but I’m gonna. United States of Tara, good show. Part of why I love this show is John Corbett, I have been in love with him for many years. He melts my heart. I once dated someone he reminds  me of.  So handsome, both of them, heart melt sandwich. Heart melt sand wish. Heart melt. I posted his photo on tumblr, love.

I’ve never actually seen Star Wars. I dated this boy way back who despite being in his mid twenties, still has a Star Wars bed spread and sheets. Lightsaber anyone? Haha If you didn’t notice on FB or Twitter or the Gregorian calendar, today is May the Forth. Get it? No, urgh, May the Fourth be with You!

Its super nice out again today. I miss my camera. Morning photoshoots had become part of my regular routine. I can’t take full shots of my outfits anymore.

Really digging the rooster alarm BTW. I think its funny. I try to do little things here and there to make my day better. Tuesday is my busiest day of the week now that The Hills is back on. Look who’s a Degrassi student today! I was running into a meeting earlier today and my boss asked if my shirt was new and if I was going to the big meeting this afternoon. “No” I said, “oh, it’s a DEGRASSI meeting” he replied.  I look like SUCH a keener and I love it. Abby gave it to me last night as a thank you for inviting her to my Hills party.  She works with the show which is awesome cause it’s gonna be airing on MuchMusic. BTW if you ever wanna come watch The Hills with me at MTV, just ask! I’ll be hanging out there on Tuesday nights.

The big wooden staircase is really pretty,  one of my favorite things about the AGO. Haven’t been there in a while and man, it was so nice to be there again. Got a new membership card and prolly gonna go hang there this weekend. Members lounge has wifi + coffee + sunshine. YEAH boyeee.

This fine group is who I work with with, we’re the MuchMTV Marketing team. All the peeps Tweet and from L-R  are Gregg (another Stewart!), Ashley, Justin, Me, Kingsley & Mike. I’m working heaps to get the social media organized for Canada for Haiti and Help for Haiti Now specials later tonight.  I’ll be on MTV Twitter duty during the Telethon too.  We’re streaming live on CTV & MuchMusic.  We’ve got lists where you can follow all the celebs here and here.

I feel bad for the kids who lost their parents in all this. I can only imagine how different I’d be if I didn’t have my parents around while I was growing up. Here’s to helping where we can. ♥

I’ve been really busy at work lately. The work I do is all social meida for MuchMusic and MTV and a few other things  surrounding them. It’s very fun for me. Today, I had an awesome gathering at my desk about blog redesign. That stuff gets me really excited. haha. “talk nerdy to me”.  I also set up a MuchMusic tumblr.

I got included in a big meeting recently about the olympics & social media. Cool stuff.  We’ve got another big meeting about social media plans for the Help 4 Haiti telethon. I love being part of all this stuff.

One of the MOST exciting things to cross my plate is that MTV Canada is launching  a fashion/beauty magazine in March and…[drum roll please]..I’m the Editor in Cheif! Can’t share too many details yet but it’s gonna be fun.

I always wanted to work for MuchMusic , dreamt of MTV and  visioned work for a fashion magazine…now I do! OMG. It’s alot of work but that means an opportunity to show I can handle it.

I just feel sofuckingexcited every day,  I almost puke rainbows.

Also, #GenyTO anniversary party is coming up (Feb.5)  and tomorrow night I’m having a little Jersey Shore Finale/Makeover party. Look out! Girls gonna be gettin’ Snookified!
