Jillian, Jillian, Jillian Jiggs!
Instead of cleaning my room I’m blogging about cleaning my room while NOT AT ALL cleaning my room. Phone vibrates on the counter and the thing get’s my attention again. Damn. Just got a ticked to AndroidTO. Going to opening night of Another Africa a Canadian Stage production. Imagine the ADD people are gonna have years from now. Crazy. Is there an app for Mum telling you to clean your room? SO nice & warm out today eh. Our place is really sunny. I got Alpha-getti for lunch. Tomorrow I do that cleanse and I’m kinda nervous/excited. I love that feeling.
Ok, this has gone on long enough.
Computer and internet, you are a distracting combo. An open door for creativity that never EVER sleeps.

always have a dream that is longer than a lifetime
Thought of you when I saw this Mum.
Orange hearts painted outside Roy Thompson Hall.
Orange tie.
Mel.
Everyone was ringing their bike bells for Jack. I Rang mine heaps too.
I love how he inspired positivity in so many people. Has anyone in Canada had an impact like this before?
I loved the old photos and seeing things people made for him. Few cans of orange crush too.

Drum practice at N.P.Square.
Huge clap when his daughter talked about his fashion sense in the early years. The funeral was beautiful. Music, singing, kind words.
You were awesome Jack Layton. Your spirit will live on in me and so many people. Your funeral was touching. (I balled my eyes out to be honest.) Biked all over with Keri looking at the chalk and reading messages people wrote you. Everyone clapped and sang at your funeral. Tears, smiles and lots of love. You made the world a better place. I will do my best too. Thank you ♥

In other news…
These are the old Docs I took back the other day.
See the eyes on the front are not attached to the actual shoe? Docs don’t wear out that often but (if you have been reading this blog for a while) you know I am hard on things. I put everything through the “Casie Stewart: this is my life” test which is heaps of use and lots of wear. I’m REALLY great at testing products, especially electronics & clothes. (HINTY HINT)
The things about Docs is they last forever. The shop on Queen Street kindly replaced my pair with a shiny new set of boots. When Fall rolls around I’ll be rockin’ them with that sexy leather jacket I picked up from Holts during the Crystal Light Challenge.
Tonight I’m staying at the SOHO Hotel with a friend courtesy of Jaunt.ca and tomorrow Keri and I are doing the Volkswagen Driving Tour. I’m gonna zip around in a TDI. Vroooooooooooooooom.
Gonna be a great weekend! Happy FRIDAY!
* Dr. Martens didn’t ask me to write this. I just LOVE THEM! ALWAYS WILL XOXO
the race is long & in the end it’s only with yourself.
This gives me such fond memories, reminds me to to worry, about things that matter. It’s a real feel gooder. If you’ve never heard/read this before, let me share it with you. I know you’ll like it.

Wear sunscreen
If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be
It. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by
Scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable
Than my own meandering
Experience…I will dispense this advice now.
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not
Understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded.
But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and
Recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before
You and how fabulous you really looked….You’re not as fat as you
Imagine.
je ne sais pas quoi te dire sinon que tu n’es pas fantastique
Wedding was lovely. Took over 300 photos, so…you’ll see this dress a few more times I reckon.
Can’t wait to wear it all summer too though. Both our dresses are from Bicyclette. So many geat things there if you ever need to find something. They get new stuff all the time too. Paige picks out all the clothes. Price isn’t bad either, both dresses together came to about $300.
The lovely Kristy & Miss Sara Baker w/ us.
The happy & awesome couple

Our wonderful dates Luke & Bonga.
If you are my friend or were at the wedding & want pix email me casie@casiestewart.com. Everyone else, enjoy this short love story I made last year.
