Don’t hide yourself in regret, just love yourself & you’re set!

The awesome ShaSha Bread Co. float. They won 1st place for their design last year and this year it was pretty darn awesome.

Getting instructions before we learn our choreography.

Haha Rob Ford was there drinkin’ in the street. I kid, I kid.

The Crew! Team Good looking!

Sammy is funny. Nice tatas. I was having an epic hair day.

I gave Sammy that beautiful hot pink extension. Bubbles are fun too.

I love this kini. Nice shot photographer. We had so much fun dancing. I heard “Born This Way” about 200 times yesterday. I’m always amazed by how many nude people are in the streets. Mind boggling. We are so cool us Canadians.

So epic.

Water was infused with lemon & vanilla, it smelled like ShaSha lemon snaps. DELICIOUS!

Thanks Raymi for connecting me & ShaSha! You were missed Raymbo!

Streets were so packed. It was great having everyone call out to you from the streets. I love crowds & the spotlight. We soaked it up good.

We found my sister!

Hi Gay & Luis! So lovely to randomly see my sister in the street. Love this shot of them!

Rest of the night was a hoot. We had a blast in the streets :)  The end. Byeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Omg Seriously. The Biz Media Epic Meal Time last night was epicly awesome. Say hello to the Bacon Volcano. Bacon strips & cheese & bacon strips & bacon strips.

Chocolate bacon cake.

Big thanks to the lovely miss who brought the Tums. I’m thankful for you.

Was a beautiful night for a patio party.

Biz Media consistently throws the best parties. Wicked crowd there last night. Heaps of people I knew & lots I didn’t. Makes for a fun time, I love meeting new people.

The man who delivers me a dozen bacon roses. ILU. These were so tasty.

Heaps of props for the photobooth. The photos are gonna be so funny. Bacon in the tree too.

Bacon everywhere actually.

I missed this one but wow, probs was delish.

Epic Meal Time guys are rad. This one is so huge, like giant. I want one of those &baconstrips shirts guys. Fo realz.

Thank you to the Biz Media team & Guy Gal. You know mama loves you.

Heaps of friends in this crowd.

I’ve never seen/ate so much bacon at one time.

We really got into it too.

Two girls, one bacon.

land of plenty

MMVA Stage is lookin’ pretty rad. I love cruisin’ by there mid day on my own schedule. Liberating! I worked mega long hours this time last year getting ready for the MMVA show. It was fun at the time.

Took the subway yesterday. I rarely ever take the subway. Most the time I walk. There’s never a shortage of interesting characters. I used to TTC often & would write stories about people & things I saw. Remmeber that book lady, Seen Reading? I think she got slammed for writing about people on the subway. I wonder where this guy was going? I like his outfit.

Went with Keri to The Richmond to learn about Snoxin.

I’m gonna have a face like a child in no time.

Lots of pretty girls there & nice outfits.

This stuff makes you look younger. Better than any $500 cream and available for $39. Last year I got Nanoblur from the same company, that stuff is awesome too.

Post girl time, got beer & had a hipster hang w/ Australian in the park. Watched the sunset. This dude was totes checking him out.

I love park hangs. He doubled me on his hipster bike. I was scared, it was exciting.

Rushing to Spoke Club, then Globe & Mail then to pick up my NXNE Priority media pass. Hectic day. Wish I had a bike right now.

Hope you have a really awesome day!

XO CASIE

Parkdale Princess office w/ Raymi @ Chez Teacher.

Raymes posted some pix of us working here.

My old office in the Carpet Factory, Liberty Village.  Worked here for two years before CTV.

So much has changed since that job. It was a god job, I had a cool boss.

Now I have a cooler boss, ME!

I spy my house in the distance. It looks so far but you can walk it in about 40min.

Hot werk.

Lunch time.

Raymbo made Teacher & I some nice snacks.

Cold bevys too. This was a Greyhound (my fav) with some other stuff. What was it babe?

We went to the Robyn concert in the evening. It was so much fun. Heaps of photos from that comin’ up next! Bon weekend.

congratulations buddy, i love you.

Dresses from Bicyclette on Queen.

Best friends & dates Luke & Bonga.

Besties.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend!

boys with beards

Guys & gals, get ready. Came across this last night via Kevin Naulls, handsome Assoc. Editor of TorontoLife.com and one of the beards in the feature. Thank you Hudson Bay for this.

Oh, how I LOVE BEARDS. Video at the end. Enjoy!

Recognized this handsome one, Ron Ruiz from MuchMTV. We worked together last year to bring MTV Fora to life.

Stellar beard Kevin. His blog is the HOME of bearded. I lurk there often. Throwback to us last year @ Greta SS11.

These few are cute too…

He is thinking, “me & my beard are going to _________.”

Don’t even get me started on this one, Jano.

When I first met his stache a few months back, I was in awe. Never had I seen such a beaut sculpture on a young giants face.

Worked with this cute on at MuchMTV too, Nick Fox(y).

This one is new to me. He has a mini beard.

This one is nice too.

See the original post on the Hudson Bay Co. blog here. Safe to say I don’t think I will ever date a man who can not grow a beard. I have a crush on a beard out there, you know who you are.

Who are some of your fav beards?

spring mixer @ Harry Rosen Inc

Attended a Spring shopping party at Harry Rosen the other night. There was a band, live radio broadcast & free drinks. Julio and I had a good chuckle. I like to have fun at these fashioney things y’know.

Jacket: Covet from Bicyclette, Tights: Adrian Hailwood, NZ, Bag: Nella Bella, Dress: American Apparel, Giggles: Julio

These pix are from Fashion Nights (click to see their coverage of the event). These guys are The Darcy’s and they were playing live. Rumor has it Harry Rosen plans to have more ‘Underground Lounge’ events. I approve of this rumor and fully support.

Aren’t they cute?

Ok my pix now. I was daydreaming about an army of Casie-Bots like this…

I took my very own dream boat and we shopped denim. Option numero uno:

Option deux was a hit with me, the sales guy and the ladies who walked by saying “hot”. Thanks Michael Rozenwald for your help. Sold. Shopping parties are fun. Nice to see everyone & nice clothes.

One of the things I did not like was this scissor wall. Freaked me right out.

One of the things I did like was this D&G ‘Cry Baby’ Johnny Depp tee. As seen on Whiz Kalifa here. (Scissors, scissor hands Johnny, connection there?) Save yourself the ≈$200 price tag & to Bang-On & make one yourself. DIY FTW!

Beautiful Alchemy – Nick Von K, New Zealand #video

When I was in NZ last year I met Nick Von K., designer of accessories for people with awesome lifestyles.

Heaps of rad things. I browsed the collection and picked out this super sharp claw; silver cast eagle claw on silver chain. It will cut you.

He just created a this video for his new line Beauful Alchemy. He told me “the film is about transformation; how when inspired, you can be transformed, and your inspiration can take new forms and take on a life of its own.” I like this idea. The video does have one boob shot in it, this is your NSFW warning.

I would seriously love to own/give you all of these pieces. There are no stockists in Canada yet but I would LOVE to see some, at least one right here in Toronto.

This is Nick, you can find him on Twitter or at nvk.co.nz.

#twestivalTO 2011 – tweet. meet. give.

This photo means something really special to me. It reminds me how much I, we have grown and changed over the past couple years.

Erin, Satish & I (below)  were on an aweosme team that came together in Jan. 2009 to create the first big Twitter event Toronto ever had. Twitter was slowly catching on at the time and the event was part of a global thing called Twestival.

Last night, Twestival 2011 took place and it was awesome. It was a totally new team of people who took the initiative to create the event and I was proud and happy to be there.

Twestival OG organizer group hug, my happy moment of the night.

The first Twestival was at CiRCA and we donated to charity:water. Remember that place? My sis was there, she was a Raptors girl back then. She’s the blonde if you don’t already know/can’t tell.

TwestivalTO @ Circa 1

Once we had Twestival on a boat cruise. Renee you were missed last night, I had a shot for you. I need to get to SF to you v.soon.

TwestivalTO Boat Cruise - 040

Another time we had Twestival at Tryst in the club district.

Aisles turn to catwalks: Stolen Girlfriends Club SS 2011

I’ve told you about Stolen Girlfriends Club before,  most fav NZ designer. My girl Anna Fitzpatrick at Red Bull in NZ sent me this awesome vid of the SS SGC collection ‘Untitled’. Check out what they did…

Stolen Girlfriends Club invade New World Victoria Park.

Stolen Girlfriends Club present their Spring 2011 collection ‘Untitled’ Gone are the runways, front row seating, backstage, and media-only invite list. It was everyday shoppers who were treated to 20 beautiful models walking the aisles of a supermarket as if they were the cat walks of Milan. Music courtesy of White Lies – Peace and Quiet (33s remix)

No runways, front row seating, backstage, or media-only invite list, for six minutes New World Supermarket (Auckland, been there) was taken over by models. The show was put together with Red Bull who have been lovers of their unconventional style since 2005.

Marc Moore, design director of SGC, wanted to present ‘Untitled’ in a location that took fashion out of its usual context. “We thought about presenting our new collection in a total random and public place, we wanted it to be like a ‘fashion flash-mob’. It’s always a challenge to keep people on their toes in anticipation but I think that today’s show really did surprise”.

She looks surprised…

Todday I’m heading to lunch to meet a few friend who is giving me a NEW fancy camera. I am going to take so many photos of everything including myself . Haha. Someone from Global News is coming to interview me after that about being cool twitter/blog. I dreamed of this kinda stuff happening to me when I grow up. Have plans to do something fun this evening too. Life is good. Enjoy the sunshine today :)
