In celebration of converse.ca (Welcome to 🇨🇦 !) they sent an awesome package. The box is an old computer with a lenticular screen, and it’s full of disks. A couple disks have codes for FREE SHOES and I’m sharing then w you. YAY! I gave a pair to Matt @ 1188 to test shipping. Ordered Friday shipped Monday, on his feet Tuesday in TO from Montreal. Every summer I get a new pair of white Converse because after wearing them all summer with no socks, trust me, they’re worn out done.  I’d like a pair of white leather hightops but I also love…

We started our Valentines Day a little early this year! On Friday night Sean and I went to the CityPlace rink for winter festivities at Canoe Landing Park. Snow falling in the winter can be so magical and romantic. I love the crisp winter air! CityPlace is a little nostalgic and romantic for us since it’s where Sean and I met.  ❤️ We lived in different condo towers on Brunel Court and Fort York Blvd. when we first started seeing each other 6 years ago.  Crazy how time flies! The area has changed so much since we lived there. We were in the first buildings built close…

Two things I totally love things about blog life are travel and new tech. Nothing like a great adventure or new gadget to kick things up a notch! This week I got the new Instax Sp-2 printer and this lil’ thing is so awesome. It’s a sleek printer that takes any photo from your phone or tablet and prints it on Instax film. It makes a great holiday gift for someone you love or yourself because you can print out your all your selfies for the fridge/fam. I already have so many of these prints around the house! I’ve joined forces with a couple blog friends…

When it comes to holiday shopping, I do it from my couch with PayPal. If you follow my tweets you’ll know my love for online shopping borders on obsession!  Scroll down to read about PayPal’s holiday digital greeting cards AND leave a comment with something on your wish list this year. I’m gonna surprise two people with some holiday spending money in their PayPal account. 🎅🏽 I have a few loved ones on my gift list who love shopping online as much as I do. This year, I’ve decided to surprise some of them with money in their PayPal account so they can go…

Nothing like a good sleep, eh? Last month was really hectic with lots of travel and tbh, it made me so tired. Different time zones, hotels, sleep patterns, it really tuckers you out. Wednesday at 8pm I’m hosting Twitter party w/ Dream Water Canada and I’d love you to join. We’ve got $500 in prizes including a $250 spa package. We could all use a little pampering this time of year!   Tickets are free and I’m asking you register your Twitter handle so we can contact winners with no stress.  Powered by Eventbrite I usually travel with melatonin to regulate my sleep/help…

I really love award show tweeting. I joined Twitter in 2008 and since then my experience watching almost everything on TV has been enhanced. Hello, The Bachelor? In 2009 I joined Much/MTV Canada as their resident social media wizard and tweeted award shows, Jersey Shore, MMVAs, MMVAs and everything in between. This weekend I’m doing a Twitter Takeover of the Dippity-Do Gel account for the MVT VMAs. They have heaps of fun hair chalk I’ve been using since last year to make my hair violet, pink, blue, etc. It’s great bc washes out with shampoo. 👍🏼

Since getting my Kobo reader I’ve read more in the last 2 months than I have in the past couple years. 🙈 I used to spend (a little too much) time scrolling my phone before bed, now I scroll a few pages of my book. Reading a book is much better relaxation before bed than reading random tweets or Facebook status updates, trust me on this one. I also really love how easy it is to read in the sun, together we’ve lazed on the dock, rode the sunny streetcar, and chilled in the park. Last month I accepted the Kobo 7-Day e-reading challenge (read that post…

On Wednesday night I’ve got a hot date with one of my BFFs to go to the TSO. It’s one of those great attractions we have downtown but I feel like people always forget about it when they’re looking for a night out. It makes a great date for someone you love (BFF, BF) or a really nice night out by yourself. The TSO has partnered with the AGO for The Decades Project: an unparalleled concert-going experience that combines transformative orchestral performances with exciting surprises galore. [youtube id=”mcdYBjmKG9A”] Wanna go? The TSO gave me a pair of tickets to share. The…
