For the holidays the entire RTR Network (TV and Online shows) did a (surprise) Gangnam Style parody for our CEO Kit Redmond.  It was RTR, Income Property, Mother of the Bride, BBQ Crawl and us Coral gals under the direction of Karolina, Alex and Shannon and with the instigation of Brigitte. Well done team!

Hallo from Germany!!!

Fashion Week in Berlin kicked off today–EXCITING! Since I’ve been anxiously waiting 4 months since my arrival, I’m totally pumped to be covering BFW! In true #ALT fashion I wasn’t even going to attend any shows or parties tonight–after all, even though it is opening night, it’s almost better to be too cool to bother going to the mainstream stuff. Instead of making my way down to the defunct airplane hangar playing host to the international trade fair Bread & Butter, I decided to walk around Kreuzberg (read: hipster’s playground) and see what came my way.

It turned out that right around the corner after having a sushi dinner was an awesome photography exhibition party starring the edgy fashion photographer Tea Xuxu Nanuti happening at Galleria Butterfly Summit, a multi purpose gallery & store for design, art and photography.

Took a few snaps, had a few shots, all and all it was a great little warm up for what’s to come this week.

Went to a beautiful Dermaglow event at the TIFF Lightbox.

I looked at all the things on lifeexperiences.ca and really wanted to do something I’d never done before…so I did!

I went on a helicopter tour of downtown Toronto!

I was nervous for a few minutes but I can’t even imagine chickening out, I live for that nervous excited feeling. Here we go…

So pretty our city, even with a blanket of snow. I reckon doing this in the summer would be just delightful. All the trees, the lake and the water looking so nice.

I can see my house! Was so neat to fly over downtown, take it all in from a different perspective.  We got pretty close to the CN Tower too. I was told they often get people planning proposals, especially this time of year.

Lifeexperiences.ca has so heaps of adventures to pick from ex. drive a race car, visit a castle,  massages, spa packages, golf, wine tasting and beer school. You can even book a segway and be like Justin Bieber. (Please tell me if you do that! haha)

I think this kinda thing makes a great gift. All the stuff ranges from under $50 to ultimate experiences like attending Cannes Film Fest worth over $10,000. I gave away a $50 voucher in December. I’m sure you’ve seen the gift cards at Shoppers or Walmart,  and perhaps willl pick one up when shopping for your valentine.  *cough, cough*

Today marks the first day of Social Media Week around the world. I’m up and off to the Ted Rogers School of Management for The Evolving Role of Social Media in Retail with Keri & Sabrina.

I am so excited. However, I am sure that does not surprise you.  Haven’t had a weekend away with a bunch of girls in years. We’re staying at the Mountain Springs Resort (with the bands I believe), have a driver, back stage passes, media all access, Zeugari swimwear, and more good stuff we don’t even know about yet. Holyshitballs. This could be trouble.

We’ll all be blogging (obviously) and we’ll have heaps of pix and all that good stuff. If there is anything you wanna see, or see us do or us to meet/interview. Lemme know cause I’ve never been to Wakestock before.

Setting up a blog/twitter for Mum today so she can update while on her sailing adventure. Gonna spend more time with my sketchbook I reckon. We hung out last night and, we really miss each other. The Unnecessary Wheels Collection is growing. If you have no idea what the heck I am talking about you should browse over Borderline Artistic, my art blog or check out some of the first ones I drew in this old post. Two of my fav’s are the bong with wheels and the blackberry with wheels. I want to have an art show within the next year. I’ve got so many things I created hiding  away, they want to come out, they want to see your eyes and give you feelings.

Made some new friends last night at drum circle & Squirley’s. HI THERE! Interesting enough, I met one babe who looks exactly like Brett from Flight of the Conchords or exactly like an old BF or two, or three. Whoops.  I always seem to find them/they find me, maybe I do have a type afterall.

Hitting up the free Metric show tonight with O’Nizzle, 7pm Union Station. After that we’ve got fittings with Raymi & Carly of our ZEUGARI swimsuits for Wakestock. We’re staying at a loft in Blue Mountain, it is going to be epic fun. Get ready for lots of bikini’s & babes all weekend.

I tried this one on the other day….ooh hubba hubba. Excited x 1,000,000. If you’re gonna be there lemme know ok.

Last night was epic. EPIC. Such an awesome time with the girls. I love Emily Haines so hard, we all do. It was me, Jenie, Michelle, Grace and Jess (we are all on the twitter).

Hanging out with my sister is the most fun. We are so positive, happy & energetic together, I get super charged. Look out.

Ain’t nothin’ gonna break my stride, nobody’s gonna slow me down, oh-no, I got to keep on moving.

I have so many great photos from the night. Heaps. The sun setting over the water and the pink sky were the perfect back drop to the music and atmosphere.

The place was packed but we hardly noticed anyone else because we were laughing and having so much fun. One dude tried to make friends with us, but we were not having it, he was Snooki’s type. We also saw a couple guidos who really loved Emily and knew the lyrics to every song.

All our seats were scattered in different sections but we didn’t go to them once. Instead, we parked our camp on the lawn and danced and sang and threw our arms in the air and screamed. The lawn is really the best place to be. You can relax and lean back or dance in circles.

I love that feeling, the one when you hear the music live and the lights shine on the crowd and they reach out and touch your face and you scream. It melts my popsicle.

Michelle = babe. She has a fashion blog and she’s got the wicked style. My phone desktop image matches her leopard onesie, that’s why she is posing with phone.

Jenie is too cute. Heart melt sandwich.

Ater we went to the afterparty @  Parts + Labour for a private Holy Fuck show. It was hipster heaven, like everyone died & went to American Apparel.

Today I’m sailing to the island with Michael. It’s just to beautiful to not make to most of the day. Y’know? You shoud do something awesome today too. Then tell me about it. We can share awesomes.

One more thing, made a new friend last night, you might know him as the guy who hates Aussies on Flight of the Conchords or host of the 2010 MTV Movie Award, Aziz Ansari. He has tumblr & twitter too.

I’d love to see a show about hot bloggers, think Sex & the City vs. The Hills vs. something really nerdy & cool. How fun would that be? I’m looking at Crystal, Keri, Carly, Raymi, Rayanne, Breanna, Lisa, Lauren?? Beuller?
