Recognize these ladies? We’re just a few of the awesome hosts on Coral TV, Canada’s premiere lifestyle channel on YouTube. I’ve been a host for about a year and it kicked off just before Banff World Media Festival last summer. It’s been heaps of fun, I’ve covered a ton of tech topics and apps.
Today we’ve having an event at The Beer Academy for you to learn about our channel, sponsorship opportunities and meet the hosts. If you are interested in attending please email Sarah as per below and say you saw my blog post.
I’m rocking my Coral shirt and will be at the event from 5-7pm. Learn more about Coral by visiting coraltv.ca and see ALL the channel videos at youtube.com/coral. We’ve just joined the Kin Community, The #1 Women’s Community on YouTube, and have some exciting things planned for this year!
Last night a bunch of us went out on the town. It was heaps of fun! First stop was the Praxis event at Hart House on the U of T Campus. Second was the annual party at Entrinsic. Nice to see the team there too! They have heaps of cool art done by Happy Sleepy. Lauren and I are sitting in front of one of the installations.
Last month the team at Community put on an awesome launch event for Grey Goose Cherry Noir. Despite the wretched weather that night, the event was a success. We trended to the #1 spot in Canada gaining a few million impressions for our client. It was my first big event with Community as the Director of Social Media and I was pretty happy with the results.
Watch the Grey Goose Cherry Noir Launch Video
One of my FAV parts of the launch was Instaprint, the Instagram printer we flew in from New York. People could tag their instagrams with #cherrynoir and have them print out at the event. It was so rad. i came home with a stack of about 20.
There are smaller launch events happening in Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa over the next few weeks. If you haven’t had the chance to try Grey Goose Cherry Noir, pick up a bottle this weekend and have a go. Check out cocktails recipes and connect on Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Guys, it’s Wednesday and I’m thinking about the weekend because it’s St. Patty’s day! Huzzah! I’ve made plans with my bestie to attend CANADA’S LARGEST MARCH 17TH CELEBRATION. Might even go green hair because I can.
This is the third annualBudweiser St. Party’s Day, with 50,000 people over two days – Saturday March 16th and Sunday March 17th – in a massive outdoor heated tent at Ontario Place.
Wanna go?
Simple to enter and I have a pair of tickets. Tweet me & say some like how awesome I am or how much you want to party with me, tagging @casiestewart & @stpartysday with #stpartysday2013. Or click this mystery button to open a tweet window and hit send. Mooohahah!
The other day a bunch of us went out to Sensation the launch for a massive house music this summer sponsored by Bud Light. It was at Andrew Richard Designs, one of my fav venues. I have seen it magically transformed so many different ways over the last few years. Thanks Becca and She Does the City for these pix.
This mermaid outfit was so awesome. I want to be a mermaid too.
WHO DOESN’T!
Last night I went to Slice TV/Shaw Media HQ for the premiere of Big Brother Canada. It’s the first time we’ve had our own season in Canada and people are going crazy over it. I watched one season religiously when I lived in Australia in 2004. I joined a bunch of media and seasoned BB Celebrity Dan Gheesling.
No i did not eat this slop! Gross. A cup of berries did me just fine.
There’s a great bar on the 16th floor lounge at Shaw media. I hope to go to more parties there.
There was a Head of House (HOH) competition and it was hilarious how sad the competition was. Aaaaaand hat’s all I’m gonna say about that!
I really hope this guy Peter wins. He’s already a YouTube star. I vote for the NERD!
It’s pretty crazy/fascinating that you can watch the housemates 24/7 online. I remember reading 1984 in high school and being really interested. Doesn’t surprise me at all that I’m on the Internet writing about my life over a decade later.
In other news, tonight is the Nella Bella Spring SS launch, then a party at ARD with Bud Light Platinum, and a Grey Goose Cherry Noir event at Bloke & 4th. Is it the weekend yet?!
Thursday night, tonight is the launch of Grey Goose Cherry Noir in Toronto at The Thompson Hotel. I have been working on this launch with the client and team at Community Agency for a while now. I am super excited for the event and can’t WAIT for our guests to see what we have in store!
Couple Things You Need to Know
1. We are bringing Instaprint the Kickstarter Instagram Printer from New York JUST FOR THIS EVENT. MTV has used it, Bud Light used it for the Super Bowl and now, it will be HERE. If you Tweet #cherrynoir from the Thompson, your Instagram will print out then you can take it home forever (for free).
2. Follow @GreyGooseCherry on Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter. This is The Tale of Cherry Noir, six chapters unravel to tell a story and we invite you to be part of it. This is a hint.
3. Get ready to be introduced to the bolder, more dark, and seductive side of Grey Goose. The aroma is of rich ripe black cherries. It will be a sight, an enchanting journey if you will.
4. There are 1,930 Results when you Google “casie stewart” and “vodka”. I have been a vodka drinker for longer than I care to admit. I was in a vodka commercial, I’ve been to countless vodka parties, and had my share of vodka hangovers. I’m pretty stoked to be working on this and I hope you come along for the ride.
This weekend is Brrrrr! Toronto, a two day out door electronic music festival at Echo Beach. My friends at Bacardi Canada have given me some extra tickets to share with YOU! I’ll be there on Friday night to see MOBY. See below on how to enter with one click!
I’ve seen The Sheepdogs and Robyn at Echo Beach. This is the first time I’ll be venturing there in [gasp] the WINTER! All I can think is BRRRRRRR!
Guys, I biked to work today and I think my winter biking is coming to an end because I actually almost FROZE. I’m working like crazy on a wicked event coming up SOON. I will tell you all about it once we get closer to the date. I really love working at Community. I’m on the hunt for a wicked intern to work with ME. You will get the best social media experience and reference ever. If you know someone, LMK.
In other news, I’m going to New York next week and have also signed on to do some fun new campaigns. So until I can share more about all the fun things happening behind the scenes, watch this. Archer is a hilarious (potentially offensive) cartoon you can watch online or on Netflix.
