Yesterday I walked down an escalator that was broken so it was stairs. I’m always reminded of Mitch Hedberg when that happens, his joke ““An escalator can never break: it can only become stairs. You would never see an Escalator Temporarily Out Of Order sign, just Escalator Temporarily Stairs. Sorry for the convenience.” So funny.

My friend and babe Anna Cyzon just released a new music vid for her song ‘Into the Sun’. I missed the launch event last week and planned to tell you all about it. We’ve always bonded over our blondeness and that we both used to work at MTV.

The first part of the video is a little dark for Monday morning but song is good! ‘Into the Sun’ reminds me of a poem I wrote in 2004 when I lived in Australia. It’s one of my favs.
As the waves crashed on the shore,

On Valentines we went to the Hot Pop Factory’s first ever 3D Kissing Booth. I packaged up our print and gave it to my love for Valentines Day. They just posted the video. It was so fun. I love, love, love 3D printing. See other neat stuff they make in blog posts here and here.
I’m a fan of Drake and some friends of mine worked on this video. It’s good. It came out tonight during the Grammys after Drake won the Grammy for Best Rap Album. HOMETOWN TORONTO BABY!

I shot with Carty about two weeks ago for the first time. Last week an opportunity came up where I needed a short intro about me on camera. After seeing a bunch of Carty’s video, I knew he was the perfect one to hire for this project.
This app is called DSLR Slate ($9.99). I’m not experienced enough in film producing to get this app yet but it’s cool. It makes sounds.

This is an awesome hipstery playlist. Fav from the cottage. I’m LOVING Rdio. Yes, they gave me an account but they sure don’t MAKE me listen to it. I started playing tunes on the mobile app last night and my life has a new soundtrack. I’m into music but I’ve not got the time to be up on all the latest bands and tunes. I like how easy it is to discover new songs.
